1) yay well-deserved four-hour naps
2) yay faculty composers
3) yay being asked to play a piece one of my peers plans to write
4) yay cool french movies
5) yay Surrealist Compliment Generator, whence the subject of this update.
6) yay renard contra reeds. i never thought i'd be attribute a "yay" to Paul Curtis (who reccommended the renard reeds).
7) and most of all i'm glad my grandma is okay, although it's going to take her a long time to recover, what with the osteoporosis & being in her eighties. (she fell down and broke her arm & hip last night, thus missing the concert, which was what she was the most worried about. in a roundabout way, this caused me to only get two hours of sleep, which is why my nap was so well-deserved. but. she'll be fine.)
