The trip back was... fine. Got into a tiff with my brother over the window seat -- I won, through sheer force of bitchiness. Seeing fireworks from an airplane is pretty amazing -- it looks like there are a million tiny colourful volcanic eruptions or something. Like the ground is boiling. Crazy cool.
A word of advice: Never, ever take a Prime Time shuttle if there is any other option. It was kind of awful, and we all wished we'd gone with Super Shuttle instead. The driver was unsafe and missed turns... & to top it off there was this weird kid who started talking to me and wouldn't stop even though it was obvious I was trying (through main force of will as it was v. dark & i was on the wrong side of the vehicle to benefit from streetlamps) to read my book.
Since then, I've been sort of busy, sort of not -- seen a few people, done some stuff, but also had plenty of time to sit around and read instead of doing household chores. Yay! It appears, though, that I require at least a full day to recover from travelling and have the motivation to get off my arse.
And now this week, I'm working at UCLA & staying at Zach's. It will be fun. Woo!

and i've found that if you growl at children 9 times out of 10 they will leave you alone..but i guess it helps if you look like me ^_^ i have used super shuttle twice..both times the drivers fell asleep..i just don't like ANY shuttles..
i'm glade you had fuuun! ^_^ i am leaving next monday...too bad i didn't get to see you.. but you have to see the pictures we took as AX!

He was a high school kid, so I don't know if growling would have worked... and I made the mistake of answering his first question, so I was kind of screwed after that.
