That's so crazy cool.

2) I just got back from a bassoon party at Cory's (or, as her e-mail subject line put it, "boozy bassoon bash").... I'm going to miss her so much! At least Thomas and Charles are staying for another year, and Amy for at least a quarter (to finish her dissertation & all)... It would be really ridiculous if Sylvia and I were the most senior undergrad bassoonists in our second year. But apparently Charlie has also totally been slacking on us this year... He's pretty much been anticipating his "sabbatical" this entire time. Amy assures us that he likes us, though, which was pretty sweet of her. I really just like bassoonists... I like being in the company of other bassoonists, hanging around and talking and stuff. We totally rock, as a breed.

3) It is finals week. I have already taken my first final of the quarter. I have been in college for a year. What is this? How did this happen?

4) I need to be sure to sleep tonight. Last night we got back circa four (went out post-concert (opera gala and it was omg amazing but also apparently omg expensive -- tickets on the order of $40? -- but hey, five fantastic soloists and a 200-person chorale singing famous choruses and operas? it ruled), then after they kicked us out, hung around at Cory's apartment), and I, being my typical anti-somnolent self, didn't climb into bed until at least 4:30 and then couldn't get to sleep for a bit... And tomorrow I have my theory final at 11:30. Oh also I got up early this morning because my parents brought me suitcases and boxes, so I can pack stuff before they take me home this week. So, yeah.

5) I am looking forward to tomorrow night, sevenish: bassoon reed party. We're going to get an assembly line going, or so we claimed tonight. It will be wicked awesome. (Shut up, it will. We're not just all really geeky.)
