i hate the air conditioning
May. 10th, 2007 12:28 amso i walk into the room about fifteen minutes ago? i think so and it 1) is freezing cold 2) is drier than the sahara and 3) smells like something is moulding in the vents/ducts
fuuuuuuuck and she just leaves it on allllll the tiiiiiiiime
i like having the window open much better.
(she is a window-closer. fffffuuuuuckkkkkk)

in other news today sucked, and while i did not anticipate the full extent of the shittiness, i already knew it would be long and frustrating so at least i looked really cute in an effort to alleviate matters some. and then after long frustrating rehearsal during which i actually got a pretty decent nap (until neal clapped really loud to stop us), we went out and had indian food and that was pretty awesome, so i guess the day wasn't a total loss. also the weather was really beautiful, despite a distinct overall lack of humidity which kind of sucks for my instruments/reeds.
but my fishy bracelet broke -- caught on something on or in my locker, and a wire snapped, and I believe I have found all but 2 of teh beads (which kind of sucks in itself) but the beads aren't that special and we can probably find some just like them at michaels or something, and my mum said she'd try to get it fixed since i have a deep emotional attachment to it. i wonder if she'd get my fishy ring fixed as well? perhaps not -- it was distinctly cheaper & of lower quality than my bracelet.
which was a christmas present.
and chris and leslie both have/had colds, and they better be bloody healthy for rehearsal today and the concert tomorrow, because i'll be really bummed if we have to cut the smugglers' quintet from the program altogether. damnit. bloody singers.
