pfffffMEHHHH.
Apr. 28th, 2006 11:07 pm1) Have you ever noticed that when you wake up early specifically to do something, and then have time to spare after you finish, that time seems to dilate and you end up being late despite having woken up early? Or is that just me?
2) A day without coffee. wtf.
3) facebook's new search system sucks balls. i mean. seriously.
4) Lesson today was better than they have been, but still not as good as I would like them to be. however. i think this came about because of the crappy start my day had (waking up early, being late, no chance to get coffee/bagel, forgetting banana (a.k.a. lunch), forgetting to clear out the bathroom for housekeeping) -- i was angry enough that i really just didn't even care enough about the lesson to get all anxious. meaning, i FINALLY passed #4 in the Orifici. yay me. (except then everything else was Not So Good, but whatev)
5) Neglecting to check e-mail before heading off to an event of which the scheduling has been tenuous is another Not So Good Idea... but it turned out fine because i needed the practise time anyway
6) large hamburgers are oddly psychologically gratifying
7) WHY have i been so TIRED this week?
8) WHY have i had NO TIME AT ALL this week? (i mean, i wasn't even able to do yesterday's crossword until today, and today's until this evening! seriously!)
9) Philharmonia concert last night. I got to play third & contra on the Bartok Concerto for Orchestra. despite taceting for roughly half the piece (probably more), it was pretty wicked. i [heart] Stulberg. i [heart] orchestral playing. i [heart] Cory and Amy. i even [heart]contra the monster, sometimes. although i still feel kinda bad that the only reason i'm getting to play so much is that sylvia is out of commission. o & my mum came and i miss her a lot. i love my mommy. the entire concert was pretty great, too -- Ravel's Noble and Sentimental Waltzes, and Mozart Piano Concerto No. 25 (my piano TA was the soloist! she won the concerto competition this year. i [heart] her, too -- she's so adorable). anyway. yeahdigression.
10) my computer and i continue to Have Words (but at least i was able to empty the trash -- after unlocking WMP's component files BY HAND. BUGGERING FUCK.)

11) omg beautiful new diversion!!!! dinosaur comics. what brilliance. o to be ryan north and know the inner workings of t-rex.
(12) thought: when you say "t-rex," where do you place the stress? i put primary stress on the 't' part.)
(13) obligatory jurassic park-referencing joke! what do you call a blind dinosaur?
