sigmastolenso this afternoon i was sitting in the schoenberg courtyard, reading and thinking warm thoughts, and a girl with a guitar in the opposite corner began to play and sing a song she had written. it was strong and moving and she has a gorgeous voice. a professor passing through on his way to a class stopped and listened. it was just one of those gorgeous moments that makes me glad to be a music major. so i found her on facebook and left her a warm fuzzy message.
o yeah and the philharmonia concert was great. forget pie; the pianist woman who played the liszt owns my soul. she was amazing.
