There are star jasmines planted literally all over campus. I just noticed recently, because they are all in bloom, and it looks and smells lovely.

I still don't like jasmine tea.

The jury is out on whether or not candied ginger is a good idea.

*grin* yay! the icon is a picture of a mallow flower that i took at the botanical garden on catalina. it's in a cage-- obviously, a very dangerous flower....

i'm not allergic to any specific ones, just to pollen in general... but my allergy medicine works pretty well, so i can be happy about the pretty flower smells
