1. My physics lab TA is kind of fantastic:
"Dear All,
As I have been reflecting on all of your hard work over the last quarter,
I have decided to make the upcoming lab, Experiment 7: Conservation of
Energy, a group lab. (In an effort to conserve some of your energy!) You
will not have to complete a write up for this lab
...
Additionally, since the demonstration/group lab will not take very long
this week, this may be a good time for us to socialize a bit. I plan to
make some cookies, and please feel free to bring any holiday treats."
-An e-mail he sent us today.

Dena says I should jump his bones.


2. Why are most of the guys I'm friends with mean? Not necessarily in general, but to me specifically. I mean, it's fun mean, funny mean, teasing mean, and not actual cruel mean, but still. *** Note: This is not me whinging. It's just something I noticed a little while ago that struck me as odd.
